MakeReady Masters offers professional ozone odor treatment for vacant multifamily apartments as part of a coordinated turn scope. Treatment may be considered for persistent odors after assessing the source and condition of the unit.

A coordinated approach to odor sources

Ozone reacts with some odor-producing compounds, but results vary. Deep cleaning, smoke-residue removal, moisture correction, appropriate surface preparation and coatings, and replacement of heavily contaminated materials may also be needed. Ozone does not replace source removal or a verified microbial remediation process.

Controlled treatment before occupancy

Ozone is harmful to breathe. People and pets must be excluded from affected areas during treatment. Post-treatment ventilation and verification of safe re-entry conditions are necessary before the apartment returns to service. Duration and re-entry depend on the unit, treatment conditions, and professional assessment.

We do not promise complete smoke removal, whole-unit disinfection, or a fixed return-to-use time.
